1. General Policy
All purchases made on FreezeDryerMachine.ca are subject to the following conditions. By completing a transaction, you agree to this Return & Refund Policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
We strive to ensure every product, including Harvest Right, Blue Alpine, and Lanphan freeze dryers, meets the highest quality standards before it reaches your home or business.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging (including manuals, accessories, and cables).
- A return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- Proof of purchase (invoice or order number) is required.
Please note that certain products are non-returnable, including:
- Used or refurbished freeze dryers
- Clearance or final sale items
- Custom or special-order equipment
- Consumable items (such as oil or filters)
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our support team at support@freezedryermachine.ca within 7 days of receiving your item.
- Provide your order number, product name, and a brief reason for return.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for shipping the item back.
- Ship the product securely using a trackable method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Refunds may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% to cover handling and inspection costs (depending on the manufacturer’s policy).
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the error was ours.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately with:
- Your order number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos or video evidence of the damage
We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
For manufacturer defects, warranty claims may be handled directly with the brand (e.g., Harvest Right, Lanphan, Blue Alpine) per their warranty terms.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are accepted only for the same item if it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If you wish to exchange for a different model or size, please request a return and place a new order separately.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they have not yet shipped.
Once an order is processed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, please refer to the return process above.
8. Warranty Information
Most freeze dryers sold through FreezeDryerMachine.ca include a manufacturer’s warranty (coverage varies by brand).
- Harvest Right: Typically includes a 1-year limited warranty.
- Blue Alpine and Lanphan: Coverage details vary; please refer to each manufacturer’s documentation.
Warranty claims must be filed according to each manufacturer’s policy. We can assist in connecting you with the appropriate service team if needed.
9. Return Address
Return shipping details will be provided in your Return Authorization email.
Do not ship items to the manufacturer or to our warehouse without prior approval, as it may result in delayed or lost returns.
